Country: USA
Styles: Biomechanics

TW: Can you describe yourself in a few words?
– Peace loving Buddhist with eyes of a killer.

TW: Describe your style of drawing in some original terms, please.
– Well, I steal some ideas here and there, add my own ideas - and here’s something interesting as a result!

TW: We saw a few of your new works, and all of them made in realism style. Was it hard to change your method of work?
– Recently I studied portraying in realism style and you can see the result of it now. It wasn’t difficult, I just didn’t have enough knowledge about cranial anatomy and the way of coloring. Now everything’s perfect, I’m really enjoying the result. And I’m going to move beyond!

TW: Your tattoo studio is called “Assemblage point”. Do Carlos Kastaneda books influence the name?
– Of course. We all change our lives at some point and so called “assemblage point” also becomes displaced. Tattoos help a lot in it all, I must say.

TW: Who is your inspiration, unchallenged authority?
– Anybody who can teach me something useful. Somebody, who suffered to get some knowledge and experience something new: it could be some knowledge in tattooing or some spiritual things. The one who you want to follow and to be educated by.

TW: If you find yourself in some crazy circus show (and you definitely will soon), what kind of character would you be?
– I have Uruk-hai the orc tattoo on my leg. That’s a character I would like to be.
